Mauna Kea

Mauna Kea is an instrumental post-rock band based in Istanbul.

Its members are Mehmet Yaranona (guitars), Mete Yafet (guitars and synths), Koray Erkan and myself, Yiğit H. İrde (drums). 

​

We have released one conceptual album in 2013 under the title "Scales", in which we have used Carl Sagan's voice from the original "Cosmos" series with a special permission from the Carl Sagan Foundation.
